INDGOP Statement on Sen. Dan Coats’ decision to not seek re-election

INDIANAPOLIS - Tim Berry issued the following statement today responding to Sen. Dan Coats’ decision to not seek re-election:

“Sen. Dan Coats is a great Hoosier who has dedicated much of his life to public service, and his experience and leadership will certainly be missed. His tireless efforts to cut wasteful government spending, reduce the overwhelming national debt, support pro-growth economic policies and strengthen our national security will be part of his lasting legacy. Our party is especially proud of his service and countless contributions to our state. Hoosiers will be served well by his leadership during the remaining 21 months of his term. We wish Dan, his wife Marsha, and his family all the best in their future endeavors."
