Indiana attorney general shuts down Goshen rehab clinic

GOSHEN — A rural drug abuse treatment clinic that was once opposed by neighbors, has been shut down and the nursing license of the owner has been suspended in an emergency action.

New Day Home, 63700 C.R. 31, was operated by Rose Watson of Elkhart. Thursday, the Indiana State Board of Nursing issued an emergency suspension of Watson’s practical nursing license at the request of Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller over allegations of improprieties at the facility and the lack of proper qualifications for staff.
